Altea puts out to tender project for building of up to 15 storeys of social housing in calle Santa Teresa
Altea Town Hall has put out to tender the drafting of the project to build a block of social housing flats for permanent social rent.
Altea Town Hall is advancing its public housing policy with the tendering of the project for a new block of officially protected housing in calle Santa Teresa, located below the Baluarte y Recinto Renacentista of the old town.
The building, which could reach up to 15 storeys in height, will be earmarked for permanent social rent, a measure aimed at facilitating access to housing for families with limited resources.
This initiative forms part of the council’s efforts to expand the public housing stock and meet the growing demand for affordable accommodation in the town.
The project is currently at the tendering stage for its drafting, which represents the first step before the future construction of the building.
