Calpe calls on the Generalitat to advance the declassification of three developable sectors
Calpe Town Hall is urging the Generalitat to continue the process to reclassify the Garduix, Pla Feliu and Ràfol sectors as green zones.
Calpe Town Hall has formally requested the Generalitat Valenciana to proceed with the processing of the declassification of three developable sectors in the municipality.
At the July 2025 plenary session, the council approved the initiation of the modification of the Garduix I and II, Pla Feliu I and II and Ràfol I and II sectors, currently classified as developable land, with the aim of reclassifying them as green zones and public service land.
The initiative seeks to protect these areas from urban development and allocate them for public use. The local government is now insisting that the regional administration move forward with the necessary procedures to make this urban reclassification, approved months ago, effective.
