Widening of CV-95 in Torrevieja will include dedicated lane for Hospital Universitario
The developer of Sector 29 La Ceñuela will fund the widening of the CV-95 between Los Balcones and the desalination plant, a project pending since 2003.
The widening of the CV-95 road in Torrevieja will finally be carried out as part of the planning obligations for Sector 29 La Ceñuela, a residential and commercial development of 1,300 homes currently under processing.
The project, pending since 2003, will improve the connection between the roundabout providing access to the Hospital de Torrevieja in Los Balcones and the desalination plant roundabout. The works will include a third dedicated lane to facilitate access to the hospital.
The sector’s developer will assume the financing and execution of this road infrastructure as part of its planning obligations. This solution addresses a long-standing demand for improved mobility in this area of Torrevieja.
The project aims to ease traffic congestion in an area that has experienced significant growth in recent years, particularly due to the presence of the Hospital Universitario.
