Benidorm PP calls on Government to hand over Sareb homes and plots free of charge
The Popular municipal group will bring a motion to the plenary session requesting the Government transfer properties and land from the 'bad bank' at no cost to create public housing in Benidorm.
The Partido Popular in Benidorm Town Hall has tabled a motion to be debated at the next municipal plenary session. The initiative seeks to secure the free transfer of properties owned by the State Housing and Land Entity CASA47 in the municipality.
These assets come from the Asset Management Company for Assets Arising from Bank Restructuring (Sareb), popularly known as the ‘bad bank’. The inventory includes land, plots and homes located within the municipal boundaries of Benidorm.
The aim of the motion is for these properties to be used for the development of public housing in the town. The proposal represents an attempt to make use of the State’s property resources to meet local housing demand.
