Rain ruins visit of two cruise ships in Alicante port
Rainfall spoils the call of two cruise ships in Alicante, affecting the plans of tourists visiting the city.
The stormy weather recorded this Saturday has left a complicated day for cruise tourists visiting Alicante. Two ships were making simultaneous calls at the city’s port, but the heavy rainfall has ruined passengers’ plans.
The cruise passengers, who were hoping to enjoy a sunny day touring the city, have been forced to modify their itineraries due to the bad weather. The rain has scuppered the tourist visit planned by travellers arriving in the Alicante capital.
The double cruise call coincided with the yellow alert activated in the province for torrential rain and hail, which has further complicated the situation for the city’s tourism sector.
