Fallen branch disrupts TRAM between Cala Piteres and La Vila Joiosa
A branch on the overhead line has forced the temporary suspension of Line 1 of the TRAM d'Alacant on this section.
Circulation of Line 1 of the TRAM d’Alacant has been interrupted between Cala Piteres and La Vila Joiosa stations due to a technical incident.
A branch has fallen onto the overhead line, the cable system that supplies electricity to the trains, forcing the temporary suspension of service on this section.
Authorities are working to resolve the incident and restore normal service as soon as possible. Passengers are advised to seek alternative transport whilst repair work is underway.
