Delays on the A-70 near Fontcalent and Santa Faz and accident on the A-31 in Villena complicate traffic

The Dirección General de Tráfico reports a difficult morning on Alicante’s roads this Wednesday, with a total of 44 active incidents recorded across the province.
The main disruptions are concentrated on the A-70, where delays have formed on the stretches near Fontcalent and Santa Faz. Additionally, an accident has occurred on the A-31 motorway as it passes through Villena.
The incidents include traffic delays, accidents, obstacles on the road and ongoing roadworks. The DGT advises drivers to plan their journeys with extra time and exercise extreme caution in the affected areas.
Traffic services continue working to restore normal circulation on the province’s most congested roads.
