Satse demands Healthcare improve home hospitalisation units due to lack of resources
The Satse Nursing Union launches a mobilisation campaign to demand the Conselleria de Sanidad implement a radical change in its policy towards home hospitalisation units due to resource shortages.
The Nursing Union (Satse) has launched a mobilisation and information campaign to demand the Conselleria de Sanitat of the Valencian Community make a 180-degree turn in its management of home hospitalisation units.
The trade union organisation denounces the lack of resources in these services, which care for patients requiring hospital treatment but who can receive it in their homes. The shortage of resources affects both healthcare professionals and the quality of care.
Home hospitalisation units allow hospitals to be decongested and offer closer care to patients, but Satse warns that underfunding and staff shortages compromise their effectiveness.
The campaign aims to pressure the regional administration to invest in these resources and improve working conditions for nursing staff working in this care model.
