Urbanismo drives measures to speed up construction procedures in Alicante following Les Naus crisis
The Urbanismo department pledges to accelerate procedures for building housing in Alicante, which can currently take up to 10 years, amidst the Les Naus crisis.
The Urbanismo department of Alicante has announced new measures to speed up housing construction procedures in the city, which can currently drag on for up to a decade. The initiative comes in the midst of the crisis generated by the Les Naus case.
Municipal authorities acknowledge that current urban planning procedures represent a significant obstacle to residential development in the provincial capital. Administrative delays have generated frustration among developers and citizens.
The proposed measures seek to simplify and accelerate the bureaucratic processes necessary to obtain construction licences and permits. The aim is to drastically reduce current timeframes that can reach 10 years.
The Les Naus crisis has served as a catalyst to drive these administrative reforms. The new guidelines aim to make urban planning management more efficient without compromising legality or proper territorial planning.
