50 Calpe businesses receive 'Somos Turismo Accesible' certification
Half a hundred Calpe enterprises obtain the certificate accrediting their facilities and services adapted for people with reduced mobility.
A total of 50 businesses in Calpe have been awarded the ‘Somos Turismo Accesible’ certificate, a recognition that certifies these companies have facilities and services adapted to guarantee access for all people, regardless of their capabilities.
This distinction forms part of an initiative to promote inclusive tourism in the town, making it easier for visitors with reduced mobility or special needs to fully enjoy Calpe’s tourist offering.
The certification evaluates aspects such as architectural accessibility, customer service and the availability of adapted services. The recognised establishments include hotels, restaurants, shops and other tourist services that have demonstrated their commitment to inclusion.
This action reinforces Calpe’s image as an accessible and responsible tourist destination, expanding the possibilities for all people to enjoy its beaches, services and attractions.
