Alicante City Council has begun installing the festive lighting that will adorn the city during the upcoming Hogueras de San Juan.
Alicante City Council has begun preparations for the Hogueras de San Juan with the installation of festive lighting in the city’s streets.
The ornamental lights will start adorning the town centre and various Alicante neighbourhoods in preparation for one of the most important festivals in the local calendar.
The installation of the lighting marks the official start of the countdown to the June celebrations, when thousands of residents and visitors will enjoy the traditional Hogueras.
Installation works will continue over the coming weeks until the festive illumination is complete at all the usual locations throughout the city.
