Alicante defines its Huerta agricultural park with 20% private use and car park
Alicante Council is progressing with the design of the future Huerta agricultural park within the Structural General Plan, including 20% of the area for private uses and a car park zone.
The Huerta de Alicante agricultural park project is beginning to take shape as part of the Structural General Plan (PGE) being developed by Alicante Council.
The proposal envisages allocating 20% of the total area to private uses, in addition to including a car park zone to facilitate access for visitors and users.
This space seeks to preserve the traditional agricultural character of the Alicante Huerta whilst allowing certain complementary uses that guarantee its economic viability.
The agricultural park forms part of the municipal strategy to protect local natural and agricultural heritage, integrating into the city’s urban planning.
