Miguel Hernández University in Elche has held the 15th edition of its Start-up Creation Marathon, highlighting several innovative projects in the healthcare and biotechnology sectors.
Amongst the distinguished initiatives is a kit to facilitate early diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease through blood biomarkers, a tool that could significantly improve early detection of this neurodegenerative condition.
Another standout project proposes a biotechnological solution based on plant exosomes derived from fruits, vegetables and plants, which would act as new cellular messengers with therapeutic applications.
Recognition was also given to an artificial intelligence platform designed to automate cosmetic safety files, streamlining regulatory processes in the sector.
