Alicante protects Luceros fountain from vibrations of Hogueras de San Juan mascletàs
Alicante Ayuntamiento has installed protective measures at the iconic Luceros fountain to prevent damage caused by vibrations from mascletàs during the Hogueras de San Juan festivities.
The Luceros fountain, one of Alicante’s most recognisable symbols, now has special protection against the impact of the Hogueras de San Juan mascletàs. The intense vibrations generated by these pyrotechnic displays can affect the fountain’s structure.
The Ayuntamiento has implemented preventive measures to safeguard this iconic monument during the festivities. The protection aims to prevent deterioration of the infrastructure caused by the shockwaves from the powerful mascletàs fired in Luceros square.
