Altea activates lifeguard service ahead of record-breaking summer visitor season
Altea's beaches have had lifeguard and rescue services operational since 1st June to ensure safety during the summer season.
Altea has launched its lifeguard service on municipal beaches since Monday 1st June, with the aim of safeguarding the safety of swimmers and visitors throughout the summer season.
The service will remain active on the town’s beaches during the summer months, coinciding with forecasts of a summer that could break tourist influx records.
Lifeguards will be responsible for supervising bathing areas and ensuring the safety of users on Altea’s coastline, one of the Costa Blanca’s most popular destinations during the holiday period.
