Calp launches comprehensive veterinary care and animal protection service
Calp Town Council has launched a new municipal veterinary service after awarding the contract to improve animal healthcare and comply with welfare regulations.
Calp Town Council has put into operation its new comprehensive veterinary care and animal protection service, following completion of the tendering process and awarding of the corresponding contract.
This service is designed to strengthen healthcare provision for the municipality’s animals and ensure compliance with current regulations on animal welfare.
The initiative responds to the need to offer more comprehensive coverage for both pets and feral cat colonies as well as other animals under municipal responsibility.
With this measure, Calp improves its public services aimed at the protection and care of animals, adapting to current legal requirements on animal welfare.
