Calpe multiplies its municipal transparency by five in one year
Calpe Town Council has drastically improved its transparency index, rising from 11.54% to 61.11% between 2024 and 2025.
Calpe Town Council has experienced a qualitative leap in institutional transparency, multiplying its compliance level by five in barely a year. The municipality has risen from 11.54% compliance in 2024 to 61.11% in 2025.
This progress reflects the council’s commitment to accountability and public access to municipal information. The improvement places Calpe in a much more favourable position in terms of open government.
In addition to these results, the Ayuntamiento is working on renewing its Transparency Portal to further facilitate public access to data and information about municipal management. This initiative forms part of a comprehensive strategy to strengthen trust between the local administration and residents.
