CCOO exhibits display on Spanish feminism pioneers at Elche's UMH
An exhibition dedicated to the women who paved the way for feminism in Spain will remain open until 15th May in the Altabix building of the Elche university.
The CCOO Pensioners’ Union of Vinalopó-Vega Baja has inaugurated feminist awareness days in Elche centred on an exhibition about the pioneers of the feminist movement in Spain.
The display can be visited until 15th May in the foyer of the Altabix building at Universidad Miguel Hernández (UMH) and forms part of an initiative by the union to raise awareness of the history of Spanish feminism.
The exhibition highlights the work and trajectory of the women who paved the way in the struggle for gender equality in the country. The awareness days include complementary activities organised by CCOO in collaboration with the Elche university institution.
