Driver who fled after Pedreguer crash was carrying doses of dangerous alpha drug

The substance alpha has been linked to several fatalities in the province of Valencia in recent times, which has alerted security forces to its danger.
The driver fled the scene of the crash on foot, but was subsequently located by police, who discovered he was carrying doses of this illegal substance.
The authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the accident and the possible link between drug use and the traffic incident.
