Man arrested in Orihuela for assaulting victim at cash machine and forcing him to go home to complete robbery
The Policía Nacional has arrested a 52-year-old man hours after he assaulted another man at a cash machine and forced him to go to his home to complete the robbery.
Officers from the Policía Nacional have arrested a 52-year-old man in Orihuela as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with violence and intimidation. The detained man is believed to have assaulted another man at a cash machine in the town.
Following the initial assault, the alleged attacker forced the victim to travel to his home, where he completed the robbery. The arrest took place just hours after the events thanks to swift police action.
The Policía Nacional is continuing with investigations to clarify all the details of the incident. The detained man will be placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority.
