43-year-old man arrested for stealing from paediatric ward of Alicante hospital
The National Police have arrested a man after he was caught stealing personal belongings from a paediatric ward room at a hospital in Alicante.
Officers from the National Police have arrested a 43-year-old man in Alicante accused of theft from hospital premises. The arrested individual was caught in flagrante as he allegedly stole various items from a room on the paediatric ward of a hospital in the city.
The police intervention came after the individual’s presence was reported in restricted areas of the hospital. Officers proceeded with his immediate arrest once the theft of belongings was confirmed.
The arrested man, who has previous convictions for similar offences, has been brought before the courts. The investigation remains open to determine whether there are further thefts linked to the arrested individual at other healthcare centres in the province.
