Employee and Two Others Arrested for Murdering and Burying Businessman Jesús Tavira in Alicante
Police detain three people after discovering the body of businessman Jesús Tavira buried at a property in El Bacarot, missing for 42 days.
The Policía Nacional has arrested three people as suspected perpetrators of the murder of Alicante businessman Jesús Tavira, who disappeared 42 days ago. Among those arrested are an employee of Tavira and a married couple residing in El Bacarot.
Officers found the body buried at the home of the detained couple. Tavira, who could have been a key witness in the well-known Sala case, vanished without a trace over a month ago, triggering an intensive police investigation.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances of the crime and the possible motives for the murder. The businessman’s connection to the Sala case adds complexity to the investigation, although no direct links between the two matters have yet been confirmed.
