Alicante's Ateneo presents twenty awards at its Culture Gala

Alicante’s Ateneo has held its Culture Gala at the Teatro Principal, an annual event that recognises excellence in the cultural and social sphere of the province.

During the evening, around twenty awards were presented to individuals, institutions and projects that stand out for their contribution to Alicante’s culture. The ceremony brought together representatives from the city’s artistic, academic and associative sectors.

The event, which took place on an evening devoted entirely to local culture, demonstrates the Ateneo’s commitment to raising the profile of and supporting cultural initiatives in Alicante.

The Teatro Principal, the customary venue for significant institutional events, provided the perfect setting for this celebration, which year after year is becoming established as a cultural landmark in Alicante’s calendar.
