This event, one of the most eagerly anticipated of the festivities, brings together thousands of Alicante residents and visitors who come to view the ninots that will later compete for the pardon.
The hogueras commissions parade displaying their artistic creations before they are erected and, subsequently, burnt during the night of San Juan. The festive atmosphere and public participation mark the beginning of the most intense period of the celebrations.
