PSOE dissolves Almoradí executive and appoints management committee led by Pilar Gay

The federal leadership of the PSOE intervenes to resolve the prolonged internal conflict in the Almoradí grouping, dismissing Ricardo Hurtado's executive.

The federal leadership of the PSOE has dissolved the socialist executive in Almoradí, led by Ricardo Hurtado, following years of internal conflicts in the local grouping. Ferraz has decided to intervene directly in an attempt to put an end to the tensions that have paralysed the party’s management in the municipality.

Replacing the dismissed executive, a management committee has been appointed headed by Pilar Gay, who will temporarily assume the party’s leadership functions in Almoradí. This exceptional measure seeks to restore normality and prepare the ground for a future renewal of local bodies.

The decision reflects the severity of the internal crisis that has affected the PSOE in Almoradí for a prolonged period, a situation that has required direct intervention from Madrid. The management committee’s main objective will be to redirect the situation and restore the party’s cohesion at local level.
