The Síndic investigates Benidorm Town Hall for denying legal information to the PSOE

The Síndic de Greuges admits the Socialist complaint over the lack of municipal response regarding the legal report on the Serra Gelada ruling.

The Síndic de Greuges has admitted for processing the complaint filed by the PSOE spokeswoman in Benidorm, Cristina Escoda, against the Town Hall for denying access to legal information related to the Serra Gelada ruling.

The Socialists denounce that the PP local government has not responded to their requests to access the legal report on the ruling affecting the Serra Gelada lands. The lack of municipal response has led the Socialist group to turn to the Valencian Ombudsman.

The case adds to the political tensions in the Benidorm council, where the PSOE demands transparency in matters related to the natural park. The Síndic’s investigation will determine whether the right of access to public information of opposition councillors has been violated.
