Elche celebrates first Nursery Industry Gala recognising companies and sector pioneers
The association of nursery producer companies celebrates its first Nursery Industry Gala before 200 attendees at the Palacio de Altamira, paying tribute to pioneers such as José Orts Serrano.
Elche has hosted the first edition of the Nursery Industry Gala, an event organised by the association of producer companies in the sector which brought together around 200 people at the emblematic Palacio de Altamira.
The main objective of the gala was to recognise the companies and pioneers who have driven the development of the nursery industry in the city. Among those honoured was José Orts Serrano, a key figure in the history of this local industry.
The nursery sector represents an important economic activity for Elche, consolidating the city as a reference point in the production of ornamental plants. This first gala seeks to give visibility and prestige to a sector that generates employment and wealth in the area.
The event was attended by a large number of entrepreneurs, sector professionals and local authorities, marking a milestone in the public recognition of this Elche industry.
