Elche decentralises social services with a new office in Poeta Miguel Hernández
Elche Town Hall begins the decentralisation of social services by opening a new office in the Poeta Miguel Hernández neighbourhood.
Elche Town Hall has taken the first step in the decentralisation of municipal social services with the opening of a new office in the Poeta Miguel Hernández neighbourhood.
This initiative aims to bring social care closer to residents in the different districts and neighbourhoods of the city, making access to assistance and guidance services easier.
The new centre will begin serving residents in the area, avoiding the need to travel to the city centre and offering a more accessible and personalised service.
The responsible department plans to expand this network of decentralised offices (OMAC) to other neighbourhoods in Elche in the coming months, thereby improving social services coverage across the city.
