Alicante held the gala on Saturday to elect the Bellea del Foc 2026, one of the most emblematic figures of the Hogueras de San Juan. The event featured candidates representing the various hogueras of the city.
The Bellea del Foc is the official representative of the festivities and plays a leading role during the June celebrations, attending institutional and popular events.
The gala adds to the preliminary events for the Hogueras, which include the recent election of the children’s Bellea del Foc and various preparatory acts for the 2026 festivities.
The Hogueras de San Juan are Alicante’s biggest festival and attract thousands of national and international visitors every year.
