Ferrovial to carry out works increasing Torrevieja's drinking water capacity by 26%
The Mancomunidad de Canales del Taibilla awards Ferrovial a €1.8 million contract to improve drinking water supply to Torrevieja.
The Mancomunidad de los Canales del Taibilla (MCT) has awarded the company Ferrovial a contract worth 1.8 million euros to carry out works that will increase drinking water supply capacity to Torrevieja by 26%.
This project is essential for guaranteeing water supply to a city with high tourist and residential demand. The MCT is the public body responsible for drinking water supply in the area.
The works will strengthen existing infrastructure and enable the coastal town to meet growing water needs, especially during the months with the highest visitor numbers.
