The Moros y Cristianos Festivities in Alcoy have celebrated one of their most emblematic events: the Moorish Entry. This parade brings together thousands of festival-goers dressed in lavish costumes that recreate the medieval history of the Reconquista.
The Moorish Entry is one of the most eagerly awaited moments of these festivities, which have been declared of International Tourist Interest. The different filá groups parade through the streets of central Alcoy in a display of colour, music and tradition.
