Ineca describes Alicante's underfunding as 'dramatic' and demands urgent solutions
The president of Ineca criticises the underfunding situation affecting the province of Alicante and the Comunitat Valenciana, following the meeting between local authorities and the minister.
The president of the provincial employers’ association Ineca, Alfredo Millá, has described the economic situation facing both the province of Alicante and the Comunitat Valenciana as “dramatic” due to the underfunding they receive from the State.
Millá made these statements after learning of the meeting between the president of the Diputación de Alicante, Toni Pérez Llorca, and the relevant minister. The business representative has urged the administrations to resolve this structural problem “as soon as possible”.
The issue of regional funding is a recurring theme in the province, where business leaders and administrations demand more equitable treatment in the distribution of state resources. The deficit in public investment affects infrastructure, services and economic development in the region.
