The Arribada del Foc inaugurates the Fogueres de Sant Joan on Wednesday from El Corte Inglés
On Wednesday 17th June at 11:30 pm, the traditional Arribada del Foc will begin from El Corte Inglés, marking the official start of the Fogueres de Sant Joan in Alicante.
Next Wednesday 17th June, Alicante will officially kick off its Fogueres de Sant Joan festivities with the traditional Arribada del Foc. The event will begin at 11:30 pm from the façade of El Corte Inglés, located between Avenida Maisonnave and Calle Churruca.
This ceremony symbolically marks the beginning of the festivities in honour of Saint John, which will fill the city with bonfires, mascletás and festive events over the coming days.
The Arribada del Foc consists of a pyrotechnic spectacle that carries the ceremonial fire through the city, bringing together thousands of Alicante residents and visitors who come to witness this emblematic moment that ushers in one of the most important festivals in the local calendar.
