Diputación increases municipal aid for Fire Brigade Consortium to 800,000 euros
Municipalities in Alicante province with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants will receive provincial financial support to cover their fire prevention and firefighting service fees.
Diputación de Alicante has increased to 800,000 euros the aid allocated to town councils across the province to meet their Fire Brigade Consortium fees.
This measure specifically benefits municipalities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants, which once again this year have provincial financial backing to pay their contributions to the Fire Prevention, Firefighting and Rescue Service.
The programme seeks to ease the financial burden on smaller councils and guarantee the continuity of emergency services throughout the province. The aid is exclusively intended to cover costs arising from membership of the Fire Brigade Consortium.
The initiative reinforces Diputación’s commitment to public safety and support for smaller local authorities in the provision of essential services.
