Generalitat Valenciana begins works to improve access to Hospital Vega Baja with million-euro investment
The Conselleria de Medio Ambiente has commenced the first phase of improvements to road safety and accessibility to Hospital Vega Baja from the CV-91, with an investment exceeding one million euros.
The Generalitat Valenciana has launched works this week to improve access to Hospital Vega Baja in Orihuela, with an investment exceeding one million euros. The project focuses on improving the connection from the CV-91 road.
The Third Vice-Presidency and Conselleria de Medio Ambiente, Infraestructuras y Territorio is leading this first phase, which has as its main objective increasing road safety in the hospital area. The works aim to facilitate access for patients as well as health personnel and visitors.
The improvements in accessibility to the health centre represent a long-standing demand from the Vega Baja area. The investment forms part of the Generalitat’s infrastructure plan to optimise public services in the region.
