The children's Official Hoguera is now on display at Alicante Town Hall square

Alicante Town Hall square now features one of the main attractions of the Hogueras de San Juan festivities. The children’s Official Hoguera arrived this Thursday at the heart of the city.

This festive monument joins the preparations for the Hogueras de San Juan, which officially begin next Wednesday with the traditional Arribada del Foc. The installation of the children’s hoguera in the central square marks a milestone in the countdown to the festivities.

The Hogueras de San Juan are the most important festivities in Alicante, declared of International Tourist Interest. The children’s Official Hoguera shares the spotlight with the adult Official Hoguera at the Town Hall square, the epicentre of celebrations that will culminate with the cremà on the night of San Juan.
