The children's official Hoguera already stands tall in Alicante Town Hall square
The official children's monument of the Hogueras has been installed in the centre of Alicante, marking one of the first milestones of the San Juan festivities.
Alicante Town Hall square now hosts the children’s official Hoguera, whose installation marks one of the first important milestones of the Hogueras de San Juan.
The children’s monument has been erected in the heart of the city, giving visible start to the countdown for the most eagerly awaited festivities of the year in the Alicante capital.
This traditional installation anticipates the arrival of the adult official plantà and forms part of the festive calendar that will culminate with the traditional cremà of the hogueras on the night of San Juan.
Residents of Alicante and visitors can now admire the children’s monument, which adds to the final preparations before the official explosion of celebrations with the Arribada del Foc.
