The candidates for the title showcased their costumes and prepared their official presentation before the Alicante public. This event forms part of the preliminary acts leading up to the San Juan celebrations, which attract thousands of residents and visitors each year.
The official gala, where the festival’s representative will be chosen, generates great excitement among Hogueras enthusiasts. The rehearsal allowed the candidates to familiarise themselves with the stage before their final performance.
The Hogueras de San Juan is one of Alicante’s most important festivities, declared of International Tourist Interest, and the election of the Bellea del Foc constitutes one of its most emblematic moments.
