The aspiring titleholders finalised their presentations and rehearsed their performances before the eyes of attendees, in an event that forms part of Alicante’s festival tradition.
Activity at the bullring does not cease in these dates leading up to the Hogueras de San Juan, one of the city’s most important festivals. The election of the new Bellea del Foc is one of the most anticipated events in the festival calendar.
Following this public rehearsal, the candidates are preparing for the final galas where it will be revealed who will represent the festival over the coming year.
