This Saturday 20th June, a new mascletà was fired as part of the Hogueras de San Juan in Alicante, one of the most anticipated pyrotechnic events of the festivities.

Plaza de los Luceros hosted the spectacle, which drew thousands of spectators eager to enjoy the thunderous noise and vibrant colours characteristic of these celebrations.

The mascletà forms part of the festive programme of the Hogueras, which continues until the night of San Juan with numerous activities for residents and visitors.
