Works on the cantil promenade at Torrevieja port delayed until mid-August

Torrevieja Council has approved an extension to complete works on the cantil promenade along the bay at the town’s harbour. The completion date has been postponed until mid-August 2026.

This new delay represents a further postponement in a project that has already experienced previous setbacks. The works form part of improvement measures in the Torrevieja harbour area.

The municipal corporation has accepted the request for an extension to the execution deadline submitted by the contracted company. Works on improving the seafront promenade continue to progress, albeit at a slower pace than initially anticipated.
