Shopping centres in the province of Alicante have been given the green light to open their doors on Sundays and practically all bank holidays in the calendar.

This measure represents a relaxation of trading hours that will benefit both retailers and consumers, allowing greater shopping freedom at the weekend.

The decision responds to growing demand from the retail sector and to the needs of residents and tourists visiting the province, especially during the high season.
