Torrevieja and Vega Baja de Orihuela hospitals coordinate pulmonary hypertension care
Both hospitals held a joint day with specialists from multiple areas to improve the management of this disease.
The Torrevieja University Hospital and the Vega Baja de Orihuela University Hospital organised a joint day focused on pulmonary hypertension. The meeting took place in the lecture hall of the Torrevieja hospital centre.
The gathering brought together specialists in Cardiology, Pneumology, Internal Medicine, Rheumatology and Haemodynamics, as well as nursing staff who work directly with patients affected by this condition.
This initiative reflects the will of both hospitals to coordinate efforts and share knowledge to improve healthcare in the treatment of pulmonary hypertension. The interdisciplinary collaboration seeks to optimise the diagnosis and monitoring of patients in the region.
