Joint police operation against illegal sales on Torrevieja promenade
The Policía Local and Guardia Civil carried out a coordinated deployment against top manta on the Torrevieja promenade.
The Policía Local de Torrevieja and the Citizen Security Unit of the Command (USECIC) of the Guardia Civil carried out a joint operation yesterday against the illegal sale of counterfeit products on the city’s promenade.
The operation took place at around 8pm in Torrevieja’s main pedestrian area, as part of the reinforced policing that the city has maintained since April to combat this practice.
The joint action represents a coordinated effort between local and national security forces to eradicate illegal street trading of allegedly counterfeit items in one of Torrevieja’s busiest areas.
