Prison for one of ten arrested in anti-jihadist operation with arrests in Alicante
The Audiencia Nacional has remanded in custody one of the ten people arrested in an anti-terrorist operation that included detentions in Alicante and four other Spanish provinces.
The Audiencia Nacional has ordered provisional detention for one of the ten people arrested in an anti-jihadist operation carried out simultaneously in five Spanish provinces, including Alicante, according to judicial sources.
The operation, coordinated by national authorities, was also carried out in Málaga, Murcia, Madrid and Barcelona. Of the ten arrested, only one has been remanded in custody after appearing before a judge.
Details about the specific charges and the scope of the investigation have not been revealed at this time. The authorities are continuing with proceedings to determine the degree of involvement of each of the detainees in the activities under investigation.
