PSOE questions MOT of crane involved in Benidorm accident whilst PP defends it was in order
The PSOE in Benidorm casts doubt on the validity of the MOT of a municipal crane involved in an accident on 6th May on Ruzafa street, whilst the PP assures that it met all requirements.
The accident involving a municipal crane on 6th May on Ruzafa street in Benidorm has generated fresh political controversy between the PSOE and PP at the Ayuntamiento.
The socialists are questioning the validity of the technical inspection of the vehicle and have requested explanations about the state of maintenance of municipal machinery. The party is calling for transparency regarding the certificates and inspections of the vehicle fleet.
For its part, the Partido Popular has defended that the crane involved in the accident met all legal requirements and that its MOT was in order at the time of the incident. The municipal government has rejected accusations of irregularities.
The political debate comes in addition to ongoing investigations into the causes of the accident, which caused no casualties but did result in material damage in the area.
