Neighbourhood row over loud music ends in shooting with three injured and nine arrested in Alicante
A dispute over a party with loud music escalated into a violent confrontation between a Spanish neighbour who fired shots and eight young Colombians, resulting in three injured.
A neighbourhood dispute in Alicante over the disturbance caused by a party with loud music ended this Sunday in a serious violent incident. The conflict began when a Spanish neighbour complained at eight o’clock in the morning to a group who had been celebrating with music since the previous day.
The situation rapidly escalated into a brawl in which the Spanish neighbour fired several shots at eight young Colombians. As a result of the confrontation, three people were injured.
Police authorities intervened in the incident, proceeding to arrest nine people involved in the events. The Policía Nacional has taken charge of the investigation to clarify all the details of the incident and determine the corresponding responsibilities.
