San Vicente del Raspeig launches clearance campaign across more than 125 kilometres of paths and streets
The municipality has launched its annual vegetation clearing and cleaning campaign on rural paths, streets and municipal plots.
San Vicente del Raspeig has begun its clearance campaign for 2026, with cleaning works covering more than 125 kilometres of rural paths, as well as streets and plots owned by the municipality.
The main objective of the intervention is to prevent forest fires by removing vegetation and undergrowth that has accumulated over recent months, which is particularly important in the run-up to the summer months.
The works will focus on the highest-risk areas and those where the build-up of dry vegetation could pose a danger both to residents’ safety and to the municipality’s natural environment.
This campaign forms part of the annual maintenance operations carried out by the council to ensure the cleanliness and safety of public spaces throughout the municipal area.
