Glovo workers protest on the streets of Alicante
Employees of the delivery platform Glovo have demonstrated in Alicante to demand improvements to their working conditions.
Workers from the home delivery platform Glovo took to the streets of Alicante this Friday in protest. The demonstration aims to raise awareness of the labour demands of the collective of delivery riders.
The employees are calling for improvements to their working conditions and greater recognition of their labour rights. The protest joins other similar mobilisations that have taken place in different Spanish cities.
The gathering took place in the centre of the Alicante capital, where workers publicly expressed their demands. This type of demonstration reflects the growing labour unrest in the digital delivery platform sector.
