Although the fire is barely showing flames at present, firefighters have not yet managed to bring it fully under control. Emergency teams continue working in the area to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading.
The authorities have not reported any casualties or damage to nearby buildings so far. The causes of the incident, which mainly affected vehicles and materials stored outside the scrapyard, remain unknown.
